Senator Gary Peters is urging all Michiganders 16-and-up to get their COVID-19 vaccine as soon as possible. In a video posted to social media and available below, Senator Peters stressed that the COVID-19 vaccines are safe, free, and effective.

"I want everyone to know that the COVID-19 vaccines are safe and they are extremely effective." said Senator Peters. "We're getting closer to beating this pandemic, but we all need to do our part to get there. That means that we all need to get vaccinated as soon as possible. I got my shot- and you should too. If you're a Michigander who is 16 or older, you're eligible for a free COVID-19 vaccine."
