The February Ubly School Board meeting had no shortage of updates to be shared.
It began with updates on construction in the district, followed by elementary students of the month, Junior High and High School website updates, as well as a report on STEM day, Students of the month, as well as an award for AP Female Student Computer Sciences.
More notable things were that the Athletic Boosters are slated to take over the consessions next season, the 8th Grade Washington DC trip was approved, as well as a budget change- less money for snow removal as an adjustment to the weather.
The resignations of Moses Garner, the Varsity Boy's Track Coach, and Heidi Sweeney, the JV Softball Coach, were approved, and the board approved the hiring of Alyssa Briolat to take over for Sweeney.
The next Ubly School Board meeting will take place on March 9th at 7PM in the library.
