Multiple Coaches Hired at Bad Axe School Board Meeting- Video

Bad Axe Public Schools held its monthly school board meeting on Monday Night. During the January meeting, the 2020 board appointments were made. Zac Eskau became the President, James Haas the Vice President, Ken Guza the Secretary and Denise McVey the Treasurer.
The Student Council present their appreciation to the board as January is School Board Appreciation Month.
A bond of $85,207.36 was approved by the board for the improvement of Stage Lighting and Electrical Equipment at the school.
And, four new coaches were approved by the Board for the upcoming seasons. Kal Pokely was hired as the Varsity Football Coach, a promotion from Junior Varsity. Matt Varner was hired as the Girls' Soccer coach. And, Mike Sutherland and Bill MacAlpine was hired as Co-Golf coaches.
The next Bad Axe School Board Meeting will take place February 24th. They are held on the fourth Monday of every month.
