North Huron School's art students are fundraising to visit the windy city during Presidents Day Weekend. The arts program teacher presented an agenda for the journey to Chicago in front of the North Huron Schools Board of Education Tuesday evening. A total of 36 chaperones and students will travel to Chicago and experience an interactive dinner at Tommy Guns, tour Shedds Aquarium, and the Chicago Institute of Arts. The art program will be fundraising to cover the costs of the trip, along with a can-drive, private sponsors, and community service through bridging the gap. Other exciting news presented at the North Huron Schools Board of Education meeting is, the 7th grade student went aboard the BaySail Appledore 4 and sampled plankton and other microscopic fresh water organisms under a microscope.
