According to CEO of Hills & Dales, Jean Anthony, the school is still participating in internships but as of May the college is officially a closed building, and rather than it sitting empty, Wen Herrington, Baker College of Flint President, preceded to find a way to donate it to the hospital for more space.
Around three weeks ago, the closing took place for the property in Flint. Other than utilities being installed and final checks, the building is in great physical shape and it is assumed that it will be ready for move-in by the end of July.
"We are currently renting a finance office department offsite," Anthony stated. "We rent it downtown and we are outgrowing our nonclinical space."
Classes, conferences, and a general meeting and office area is what the space will essentially be used for, but no official name has been decided.
The official campus name will be "squared away" with the next hospital board meeting that will take place on Monday, July 9th.
