Village of Elkton holds public hearing on Recreational Marijuana video

The village of Elkton trustees held a public hearing on a possible recretional marijuana dispensery on Thursday eveing. The hearing lasted about an hour.
Multiple people voiced opposition, saying it doesn't belong in Elkton and that it could lead to the usage of other drugs such as cocaine.
Others voiced support, exclaiming that people could get Marijuana elsewhere, why not in Elkton? And, like alcohol and cigarettes, people would find a way to access the drug regardless.
The trustees made clear that no decision would be made for the foreseeable future, and multiple meetings would be held on the matter when a decision appears close.
