Multiple Fire Departments called to Shed Fire South of Bad Axe Wednesday morning - pics and video

5 fire departments were called out Wednesday morning to a reported shed fire, south of Bad Axe. The fire was on the southeast corner of Bad Axe Road, and Popple Road, just south of Bad Axe. Bad Axe Fire Department was initially called but the fire was actually in the Bingham-Ubly Fire Department District. Ubly Fire Chief Joe Stacer Said they were called to the Gary Krug property at about 4:50 this morning and were there about 3 hours. The cause of the fire remains under investigation. It destroyed at 60 by 100 foot shed on the south east corner of the homestead. Some farm related equipment was lost and a tractor and a pick up nearby had some damage. There were no injuries. Besides the full assist from Bad Axe, they had a full assist from Sigel Township fire department and tankers from Owendale and Oliver Township Fire Departments. Bingham EMS also stood by at the scene.
