Massive Barn Fire in Bay Port on September 4th 2025

At approximately 7:27AM on Thursday, Sptember 4th, 2025 a call came in to Huron County Central Dispatch regarding a barn fire at 8334 Campbell Road on the west side of Huron County.
WLEW/WHST News was on scene.
Fire departments from Fairhaven, Windsor, Oliver, Port Austin, Bad Axe, Caseville, Owendale, and Harbor Beach were on scene as well as the Pigeon Police department for traffic control.
Three ladder trucks and many firemen were attempting to extinguish the blaze.
Smoke could be seen billowing from the barn as far as 10 miles away.
More details will be released when WLEW/WHST News receives more information from the fire departments on scene.
**UPDATE 10:40AM - Tuscola County Fire Department is now on scene and the crew has told WLEW/WHST news there are now over 30 tanker trucks on scene as well to supply water to the trucks.
