Icy roads sent a pickup off the road into a water filled ditchThursday morning in Elk Township. The crash occurred on Stilson Road, east of Orchard Road northeast of Peck. We've left a message with the Sanilac County Sheriffs office for more on the incident. Sal from Sal's Auto Repair and Towing in Lexington Township told us that when emergency personnel arrived the driver had already exited the vehicle safely. Sal supplied images from the scene which can be viewed in the written story on thumb net dot net. Sal said despite how the vehicle looked in the ditch, it came out in about 15 minutes.
