Cass City area twin teens become entrepreneurs -audio video

   14 year old twins, Joseph and Daniel White (Joseph in gray and Daniel in blue) of Cass City are well on there way to becoming young entrepreneurs, as they are working toward the manufacture of a toothpaste with coconut oil which has benefits to your teeth and mouth. They heard about the benefits of coconut oil in oral hygiene when their mothers' dentist recommended it, however it has to be swished around the mouth for about a half an hour and doesn't taste as good as you might think. They looked for toothpaste that had it in the ingredients but found none. That's when they got the idea to make their own. They had attended the Youth Entrepreneurs Academy and used what they learned and the contacts they made to get started. The twins are home schooled and told us that helps in making time for such a project...

     The microbiologist was made through contacts at the Youth Entrepreneurs Academy. At this point they don't have a target date for the launch of their toothpaste, but they are already thinking ahead to future products...

    Upon completing the Youth Entrepreneurs Academy they received funding which they used for the start up. Unlike TV's Shark Tank its not an investment and they don't have any other partners to pay back. When it comes to young men and money, we had to ask what they are going to do with the money they make. They told us some will be used to help develop future products down the line, and...
