Sanilac County Board of Commissioners to Meet on Tuesday

The Sanilac County Board of Commissioners will meet at 1 p.m., Tuesday (Nov. 18), in the meeting room at 60 West Sanilac, in Room 105, Sandusky.
According to the preliminary agenda, some of the items commissioners are expected to approve is accepting the $41,135 from Thomson Chevrolet of Ubly for a 2026 Chevrolet Traverse for the county's Veteran Affairs Department.
The board is expected to approve paying $69,900 to purchase 16 Motorola Body Cameras.
Commissioners are also expected to approve the $14,834 purchase of a 2007 Chevrolet Express 16 passenger van for the sheriff's work crew program.
In other matters, commissioners are expected to approve the continuation of the partnership between the county and SAVE Council - Eva's Shelter Program's millage funding renewal of $210,160, and for for SAVE Partnership with the Child Abuse Prevention and Intervention for $179,152.
