Man Killed at Michigan Sugar Company Factory in Croswell

The Michigan Sugar Company issued a notice about an employee's death that happened on Tuesday, Nov. 4.
The company reported an accident happened about 6 p.m., at the company's factory in Croswell.
A male employee, who was working in the Croswell Agriculture Department, was killed in a workplace accident.
He was transported via ambulance from the site to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
"Our Safety Department, in cooperation with outside agencies, is leading an investigation into the accident." said a press release from Michigan Sugar Company.
"We are grieving the tragic loss of a cherished member of our work family. Grief counselors will be in Croswell today as a resource for employees."
The thoughts and prayers of everyone at Michigan Sugar Company are with the deceased employee's friends, family, and co-workers during this difficult time.
The company also noted that no further public comment on this incident will be done while the investigation is ongoing.
