Over the last few years, Cass City village officials have aggressively marketed their community, and hired a new firm to continue the self-promotion of being the place to come, visit and stay for a lifetime.
As part of the 2024 strategic plan, a request for proposal (RFP) was developed for a new logo, marketing and branding for the village's image. As a result of that REP, the village contracted with New Moon Visions Place Branding and Marketing to help promote the community. New Moon Visions will provide an authentic and comprehensive marketing service that includes a logo design, slogan development, and overall branding to effectively communicate the diverse community and economic development opportunities in Cass City.
The firm is dedicated exclusively to creating brand identity and generating awareness for communities. New Moon's niche is branding and has gained expertise working with a variety of places and organizations, from small villages and Main Street communities, to cities, major corridors and tourist destinations from Michigan to California.
The New Moon Visions team hit the ground running when it was hired, and they are currently gathering data from the leaders, stakeholders, residents and visitors with a survey to learn all about Cass City, said village Manager Debbie Powell.
To help with the survey effort, village officials are asking residents to take a few moments to provide input and to share the survey link with friends to help the effort. The survey can be found at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/CassCityBranding.
Anyone who completes the survey can enter into a random drawing for a chance to win one out of four $25 gift certificates to use in Cass City. Funding for this project will be paid from the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC), and Redevelopment Ready Community (RRC) Toolbox money the village was awarded.
