There will be contested races during the August election in some of Huron County townships.
For Bingham Township clerk - (D) Joseph J. Trepkoski, running for supervisor is (R) Kevin Grifka, and running for treasurer is (R) Laura Tyll. Running for the two trustee seats are Republicans Robert Brahmer, Charles Briolat, and Kali Ewald.
For Bloomfield Township clerk - (R) Samantha V. Guza, running for supervisor is (R) Matthew Booms, and running for treasurer is (R) Marcealina Miller. Running for the two trustee seats are Republicans Paul R. Elandt and Fred Karg.
For Brookfield Township - (R) Ervin Haley is running for treasurer, running for supervisor is (R) A. Charles Timmons, and running for the two trustee seats are Republicans Aaron Baker and Aaron Fahrner.
For Caseville Township clerk - (R) Kimberly Simpson, Ben Willenberg (R) is running for supervisor, and running for treasurer are (R) Chelsey Duffy and (R) Elizabeth Willenberg. Running for the one trustee seat are Republicans Laurie Marrocco and Michelle M. Stirrett.
