Tuscola Commissioners to meet this coming Monday

The Tuscola County Board of Commissioners will meet at 8 a.m., this coming Monday, July 22, in the boardroom at the Purdy Building at 125 West Lincoln St., Caro.

According to the preliminary agenda for the meeting, Joe Verlin, CPA, with Gabridge & Company, PLC will review the 2023 audit, Linda Strasz will review the proposed 2024-2025 child care budget, an audit report for the Information Technology budget, as well as doing some budget amendments.

Some of the other items on the agenda, commissioners are expected to address include honoring veteran Tuscola County Planning Commission member Lonnie Lester for his 14 years of service, and approving the use of the courthouse lawn for the Tuscola County Pumpkin Festival.
