Amber Alert Canceled 1-Year-Old Found Safe Suspects Still at Large

A man was fatally shot in Detroit and a 1-year-old girl was taken by four Black males in a Dodge Durango on Saturday night. Thankfully, she was found safe early Sunday morning and the Amber Alert has been canceled. However, authorities are actively searching for the suspects who fled in a gray Dodge Durango.
According to the Detroit Police Department, Royalty Childs was taken by four Black males in a gray Dodge Durango around 10 p.m. on Saturday night. The suspects approached a man and a woman with the little girl, fatally shot the man, and then fled with the child.
Detroit police
posted an update around 2 a.m., stating, "The child has been found safe. We continue to search for the vehicle involved."
Photos of the vehicle, a newer model gray Dodge Durango with Michigan license plate EAD 187, were released by the Detroit Police Department.
