Infrastructure updates and the progress that is being made in Croswell was reported during a town-hall meeting of the Croswell City Council.

The city was able to secure over $4 million through the Michigan Enhancement Grant program to do water system upgrades, and through the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) the city was allocated $8 million for water as well as street upgrades. In addition to the grant funding, the city is also investing $1 million in community projects, along with $4.5 million that has been earmarked for future infrastructure work.

Besides the drinking water project, the city is also working on doubling the capacity of its wastewater treatment plant using $34 million in funding from About the Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF). The expansion of the plant is in preparation for future growth for residents; especially to support the current industries and to attract new ones to develop in the community. Significant progress is being made on these projects.
