Two-Vehicle Collision in Bad Axe Sends Pickup Into Ditch

On Thursday evening, there was a personal injury accident at the intersection of Learman and Hellems Roads in Bad Axe.
Huron Central Dispatch alerted first responders at 5:53 pm, dispatching the Bad Axe Fire Department, Central Huron and Thumb Ambulance, and the Huron County Sheriff's Department to the scene.
From the photos we've received, it appears that a grey minivan may have run the stop sign heading South on Hellems Road and collided with an eastbound red pickup, pushing the truck into the ditch. We are currently waiting for the official police report for more details.
The Bad Axe Fire Department cleared the scene just after 7:30 pm, and the Huron County Sheriff's Department wrapped up their involvement shortly after 8:00 pm.
