Harbor Beach Council meets tonight to address issues and open bids

The Harbor Beach City Council will meet at 6:30 p.m., tonight (July 15) at city hall at 766 State Street.

The reason for the meeting is to discuss appointments for the Board of Review, and to discuss the annual meeting notice.

While the council is convened, they will do a bid opening on the replacement of a service line, ramp replacement, and the waste water treatment plant motor replacement and the programmable logic computer update.

Also, the city's election commission will conduct a meeting at 11 a.m., on Tuesday, July 23. The meeting will be in the offices of Ferris, Schwedler & O'Mara, PC at 237 East Huron Ave., Bad Axe.

The purposed for the meeting is to appoint election inspectors for the July 17 to Aug. 4 for early voting and for the Aug. 6 Primary Election.
