Harbor Beach Maritime Festival: Events_ Music_ and More

Harbor Beach is hosting it's Maritime Festival this week, July 10-14 at the Judge James H. Lincoln Memorial Park. Residents and visitors alike are enjoying a variety of events, from sports tournaments to live music and family-friendly contests. Earlier this week, Harbor Beach hosted the successful Harbor Beach Hospital 5k walk/run on Wednesday, followed by a Bocce Tournament on Thursday. All 45 beach camping spots were quickly reserved, and registration for both the Co-Ed Beach Volleyball Tournament and Jet Ski Races closed yesterday.
Some events offered are the Farmers Market at Murphy Museum Lawn from 12-5pm for fresh local produce and artisanal goods. The Friends of Library Book Sale runs from 12-6pm at the Community House Gym, perfect for book lovers stocking up on summer reads. Live music will also be playing 5-7pm and 8-12pm.
The Kids Contest of Pet Tricks and Frog Jumping is set to take place at 3pm tomorrow. Additionally, the weekend offers a plethora of activities, including lighthouse tours on Saturday mornings, many more contests, and visits to historical landmarks such as the Grice House Museum and Murphy Museum.
