Ubly is celebrating its Homecoming this week with a "Roaring 50's" theme, organized by community groups including the Lions Club, VFW, Community Club, TVO, TVO Auxiliary, and Rotary Club. The festivities kicked off yesterday with citywide garage sales and a family fun night.

Some other events include the 50/50 raffle with all proceeds donated to Samantha Smalley. The tractor/truck pull has an admission fees of $10 for adults and $5 for children. A beer tent will be open from 6 pm to 1 am with a $5 cover charge from 7 pm to midnight; please remember to drink responsibly and note that it's strictly for those aged 21 and older.

While the Mud Volleyball tournament has unfortunately been canceled due to a lack of teams, there are still many exciting family-friendly events scheduled for the weekend. Saturday kicks off with a 5K walk/run at 8 am, and Sunday starts with an outdoor community worship service at 10:30 am (bring your own chair), followed by the Grand Parade at 12:30 pm.
