Memorial Museum To Holding Inaugural Event

Huron County's inaugural Academic in Residence weekend at the Frank Murphy Memorial Museum in Harbor Beach is set for July 19-20, supported by a grant from the Huron County Community Foundation and organized by the Friends of the Frank Murphy Museum.
The event begins with a Meet-and-Greet session on July 19 from 3-5 pm, coinciding with the weekly Farmer's Market at the Museum grounds. Featured speakers will include Linda Greene and Greg Zipes.
On Saturday, July 20, at 10 am a Keynote dialogue will be held at the Harbor Beach Hospital Conference Center; followed by a Roundtable at 11:30 am discussing the museum's programming and Murphy's legacy. The afternoon session at 2 pm focuses on Frank Murphy's legal impact, welcoming historians, students, and residents interested in local history.
