Mayville Schools Sets 2024 - 2025 Budget and Staff

The Mayville School District's Board of Education has adopted the 2024 - 2025 school year, and set the millage rates that will be levied to support it.

The new budget projects General Fund revenues of about $7.45 million, and estimates expenditures of about $7.5 million. The Food Service Fund estimates revenues of $570,628 and projects expenditures of $572,085. Student Activities Fund budget and projects expenditures estimates revenues of $127,000.

Also, the Capital Outlay budget estimates revenues of $24,500 and projects expenditures of $100,000. The Debt Retirement Service fund estimates revenues of $801,044, and projects expenditures of $838,700. The board set the General Fund Millage rate at 16.4000, and set the Debt Retirement Millage at 3.6000 mills.

And, as the 2023 - 2024 year ended on June 30, the board granted second year probation to Jennifer Blevins, Angela Giddings, Spencer Sillman, and Kimberly Webb, as well as recommended a third- year probation for Andrea LeValley, Eric Olar, Kimberley Richardson, and Matt Richardson. Fifth-year probation was approved for Sarah Buggia and James Stanhope, and tenure was granted to Julie Rude, Kelsey Neighbors, Joseph Russell, and Alison Rich.

In other matters, a one-year contract was given to Business Manager John Bungart, the resignation of Student Services Coordinator Jennifer Parker was accepted, and the retirement of elementary Principal Darren Masterson was accepted.
