Justin Whelan Sentened For Driving With A Suspended License

Before Judge Ferris, in Huron County District Court Thursday, Justin Michael Whelan pleaded guilty to two counts of driving while license suspended, first offense. The pleas were accepted by the court.

As part of the resolution, the court dismissed a civil infraction for no insurance and a charge of driving while license suspended, second offense.

Whelan received a sentence of fines and costs, with no probation or jail time imposed. The combined total for fines/fees and costs for both cases was $840. A $1000 bond was posted, with $900 applied to the total, resulting in a $60 refund.
