Pastor Al Eastman will be officiating. Interment will be private at Assembly of God Cemetery in Sebewaing. Betty is survived by her devoted children: Billy (Lori) Carter, Brenda Carter and Barry Carter; grandson, Braden Carter; step granddaughter, Stephanie Craig and her sons; siblings: Donald (Karen) Weisenbach, Barbara (William) Sting, Dennis Weisenbach, Harold (Margaret) Weisenbach, Gary (special friend, Carrie Dohn) Weisenbach; sister-in-law, Barbara Weisenbach brother-in-law, Charles Gaeth ; and many nieces and nephews. Betty is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and siblings: Richard Weisenbach, Shirley Gaeth, David Weisenbach, Robert Weisenbach, Geraldine Koepf and Kathy Hodder; and nephew, John Weisenbach.

Biography

Betty Jean Carter, age 77, of Sebewaing, passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at Ascension Genesys Hospital in Grand Blanc. Betty was born in Cass City on August 12, 1945, to Harold and Thelma (Buzzard) Weisenbach. She married Benny Carter on February 19, 1966 at the Assembly of God Church in Sebewaing. He passed away March 8, 2017. Betty enjoyed being a homemaker and raising her 3 children. The absolute greatest thing to happen to her is when she received a grandson, Braden. She enjoyed spending time with him and attending all his ball games. She also enjoyed vegetable gardening, watching “Days of Our Lives”, going to garage sales and collecting jewelry.
