Funeral Mass for Rena will be Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at 11 am at Our Lady of Lake Huron Catholic Church, of the Holy Name of Mary Parish, with Fr. Kevin Wojciechowski officiating. Burial will follow in the OLLH Church Cemetery. Visitation for Rena will be on Tuesday, from 4-8 pm at the Ramsey Funeral Home of Harbor Beach. Visitation on Wednesday, will be at the church, beginning at 10 am until time of services. A Parish Vigil Service will take place Tuesday, at 7pm at the funeral home. Rena is survived by her daughter Beth Ann (Thomas) Blessing of Novi, 3 grandchildren: Thomas Michael Blessing, Daniel Rees Blessing, Katherine Rena Blessing, brother Doug (Donna) Rees of Harbor Beach,Sister,Nancy (Joseph) Sobczak of Linden, sister-in-law, Sue Rees of Bad Axe, brother-in-law Dan (Marge) Lemanski, and several nieces and nephews. Rena was preceded in death by a brother Willard Rees and sister Betsy Lemanski.

Biography

Renattah Brenner, age 88 of Harbor Beach, passed away Saturday, December 10, 2022 at Ascension Providence Novi Medical Center. She was born on March 23, 1934, in Harbor Beach, to the late Milton and Agnes (Whipping) Rees. She and Richard Brenner were united in marriage. He preceded her in death on May 22, 2008. Rena was a Registered Nurse that worked for St. Joseph Mercy and the Bendford Nursing Center. She was a member of Our Lady of Lake Huron Catholic Church. She enjoyed crocheting, quilting, baking, and was a devoted church parishioner.
