Services will be held on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at 12 pm at the Kaufman Funeral Home in Bad Axe. Burial will be in Colfax Cemetery. She is survived by: 2 sons-Thomas Bongiovanni of Rochester Hills and Donald (Veronica) Bongiovanni of Sterling Heights. 4 Grandchildren: Carrie (Steve) Mariuz, Rachel (Scott) Hewins, Christopher (Sarah) Bongiovanni and Tyler (Stacie) Bongiovanni. 10 Great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter June Verbanic.

Biography

Shirley Bongiovanni, age 94, of Bad Axe, passed away on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at Huron Medical Care Facility in Bad Axe. She was born on May 28, 1923 in Detroit. She married Charles Bongiovanni on June 21, 1941 in Detroit. He preceded her in death on January 28, 2013.
