Funeral Information

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at St. Hubert Parish - Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Officiating will be Father Rob Howe. Burial will be in Colfax Township Cemetery. Friends may call at the Kaufman Funeral Home in Bad Axe on Friday, March 9, 2018 from 1 – 8 pm or Saturday at the church from 10 am until the service time at 11 am. Family of the Deceased

Robert is survived by his wife Marilyn of Bad Axe. 1 Son – Gary (Mary) Labor of Bad Axe. 1 Daughter – Linda (Andrew) Wolschlager of Danville, Indiana. 6 Grandchildren - Trevor, Tyler, Katlyn, and Cynthia Labor, Kortney Leeson and Ashlyn Wolschlager. 1 Great-grandchild - Lillianna. He was preceded in death by one sister, Josephine Owers.

Biography

Robert Edward Labor, age 79, of Bad Axe, passed away on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at his home. Robert was born on January 27, 1939 in Argyle, son of the late Christian and Lavinia (Moorse) Labor. He married Marilyn Brown on June 29, 1963 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bad Axe. Bob graduated from Bad Axe High School in 1957. He was the manager of Michigan Livestock Exchange in Cass City from 1963 to 2000. He then became part owner of Great Lakes Cattle Marketing Company from 2000 to 2012. Bob enjoyed his grandchildren, bowling, casinos, and his poker buddies.
