Funeral service will be 12 noon on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at the Bad Axe First United Methodist Church with Pastor Philip Tousley officiating. Visitation will be at the church from 10 a.m. until time of service. Burial will be at Colfax Township Cemetery. Memorials may be offered to the Bad Axe First United Methodist Church. Family of the Deceased

Beverly is survived by her beloved husband of forty-four years, Dr. David Brickel of Bad Axe and her wonderful children: Matthew Brickel and his wife, Laurel, of Bad Axe, Thomas Brickel of Traverse City and Nicholas Brickel of South Haven.

Biography

Our kind and loving wife and mother, Beverly A. Brickel, 66, of Colfax Township, passed away peacefully on December 22, 2017, at Courtney Manor in Bad Axe. Beverly was born on December 2, 1951 in in New Eagle, Pennsylvania, the only child to the late Nicholas and Kathleen (O’Toole) Bednarczyk. She graduated from University of Michigan with a Bachelor’s in Science. Beverly was united in marriage to Dr. David Brickel on June 30, 1973 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Beverly was a member of the Bad Axe First United Methodist Church. She loved spending her winters in Florida. She was an avid sports fan, always cheering for University of Michigan football team, the Detroit Lions or the Detroit Tigers. Beverly also enjoyed golfing at Verona Hills Golf Course.
