Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 21, at the Community Wesleyan Church. Rev. William O’Nan will officiate with burial in Riverside Cemetery, Elkton. Friends may call at the Champagne Funeral Chapel, Elkton from 2 to 8 PM Tuesday and at the church after 1 PM Wednesday. Surviving are his wife, Debbie; three sons, Jacob (Bev) Bouverette, Daniel (Courtney) Bouverette both of Bad Axe and Branden (Becca) Bouverette of Elkton; grandchildren, Shawn, Katylan, Haley, Tristan, Braden, Sara, Randy, Emma, Ethan and Nick; two brothers, Keith Bouverette of Bad Axe and Tim Bouverette of Elkton; four sisters, Cathy (Dave) Briesmiester of Caseville, Diane Palach of Bad Axe, Theresa (Gary) Miller of Elkton and Mary (Paul) Greyerbiehl of Cass City; a brother-in-law, Tim Heiden of Elkton and sisters-in-law, Nancy Babisch of Grant Twp and Beverly Bouverette of Elkton and many nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were three brothers, Tom, Fred and Terry Bouverette and a sister, Barb Heiden.
Randy J Bouverette age 58, of lifelong Elkton resident died Saturday evening, December 17 at his home with his family gathered at his bedside. He was born June 25, 1958 in Bad Axe to the late Frederick and Dorothy (Grigg) Bouverette. Randy grew up in Elkton and was a 1976 graduate of Laker High School. On March 15, 1980, he was united in marriage to Debra C. VenEpps at the Elkton Missionary Church, raising their family in Elkton. Randy began working at Wiederhold Freight Line while in high school and giving them 39 years. When they closed, he got a job with Wood Acres Trucking, Bad Axe, leaving them for health reason after 5 years of service. He is a member of the Community Wesleyan Church, Elkton. His work was his hobby, he also enjoyed fishing and bon fires. Randy loved being with his kids and fixing his families cars.
