She is survived by her son: Rick (Lori) Kociba of Bad Axe; daughters: Annette (Kevin) King of Port Austin and Debbie (Jason) Hordos of Brighton; grandchildren: Rickie (Mandy)Tetreau, Montana Greyerbiehl, Alyssa Kociba, Kaitlyn Kociba and Nicholas Kociba; step grandchildren: Korey and Jason King; great grandchild, Brayson Tetreau; step great grandchild: Beaux Fritz; brothers: Ronald (Helen) Greene of Zepheryrhills, Florida and Charles Green (and special friend, Diane) of Lapeer. Jean was preceded in death by her brothers: Billy and Bob Greene; and her sisters: Joan Siedlecki and Susan Wilcox.
Jean Marie Kociba, 71, of Colfax Township, passed away on December 13, 2016 at Covenant Health Care in Saginaw. Jean was born in Bad Axe to the late John and Agnes (Goretski) Greene on August 21, 1945. Jean graduated from North Huron High School. She was a member of Sacred Heart/St. Hubert Parish in Bad Axe. She worked at the Bad Axe Public Schools from September 1973 – June 2012. Jean stayed active at the schools, working at various sporting events, collecting tickets. She enjoyed baking, her specialty being her apple pie; attending school events and spending time with her family and friends.
