Brian is survived by his father, Larry Puterbaugh of Snover; mother, Denise (Edward) Osantoski of Port Austin; sisters: Renee (Jeremy) Bolsby of Snover, Ashley (Antoin) Akl of Watertown, MA; brother, Kurt (Cari) Puterbaugh of Snover; nephews: Nathan, Cole and Caden; grandmother, Jacqueline (Robert) McAlpine of Snover; step brothers: Jason (Kelly) Osantoski of Lapeer, David (Erica) Osantoski of Port Austin, step sisters: Nancy Osantoski of Port Austin, Jackie Osantoski of Port Austin; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Franklin "Bud" Beutler; grandparents, Ryerson and Dorothy Puterbaugh.

Biography

Brian J. Puterbaugh, 35, of Snover,MI died Tuesday, December 23, 2014 in Gaylord Tendercare Nursing Home, MI after a long battle to recover from injuries sustained in an ATV accident. He was born October 8, 1979 in Cass City, MI to Larry and Denise (Beutler) Puterbaugh. As a young boy, Brian attended Mooretown Brethren In Christ Church and participated in the local 4H club. He graduated from Cass City High School 1998. After high school, Brian studied Agricultural Science at Michigan State University. Brian was a lifelong farmer, raising beef cattle and crop farming. He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing and hunting deer and pheasant. In his spare time, Brian enjoyed shooting pool, tractor pulling and camping.
