A memorial service will be at 12:00 Noon Wednesday, March 26th at the Caseville United Methodist Church with Rev. Linda Fuller officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the time of the service at church. Champagne Funeral Chapel of Caseville is handling the arrangements. She is survived by her husband Arthur; sons Charles of Caseville and Craig (Kara) of Tulsa, Oklahoma; grandchildren Christopher Stahl, Amy (Wayne) Warwick, Cassie Stahl, Marc Stahl and Scott Karr; great-grandchildren Tyler and Reese Warwick; sisters Patricia Ward of Florida, Georgina (Alvin) Kreh of Kinde, and Maude Heck of Pigeon; and sister-in-law Edna (Melvin) Dutcher of Caseville. She was preceded in death by her sister Zella Weaver.

Biography

Roberta A. Stahl, 84, of Caseville, died Friday, March 21, 2014 at Covenant Hospital in Saginaw. Roberta was born in Lake Twp. on December 17, 1929 to the late Robert and Vivian (Bostwick) Heasty. She graduated from Pigeon High School. On October 12, 1951 she married Arthur Stahl at the Caseville United Methodist Church. Together they built their home on Main Street in Caseville where they lived their entire married life and raised two sons. She worked as a waitress in several Caseville restaurants. She was involved in the community with the Caseville American Legion Auxiliary and the Historical Society. She was an active longtime-member of the Caseville United Methodist Church, where she was instrumental in the church’s pasty making fundraiser.
