A memorial mass will be held on Wednesday, March 19th, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bad Axe. Officiating will be Fr. Robert Howe, pastor. Friends may visit at the Kaufman Funeral Home in Bad Axe on Tuesday from 3-8 p.m. or Wednesday at the church from 10 a.m. until the service time at 11 a.m. Memorials may be offered to the family memorial fund.
Survived by: wife-Marie Lemanski of Bad Axe. 2 sons-Gabriel (Veckie) Lemanski of Houghton Lake, Demetrius (Kate) Lemanski of Owosso. 1 daughter-Blanda Lemanski-Hattie, and her fiancé Dale Anthony of Atlanta, GA. 1 sister-Madonna (Owen) Howell of Marquette. 4 grandchildren-Brice Lemanski (Creech) of Owosso, Kierra Hattie of Atlanta, GA, Kegan Lemanski of Houghton Lake, Wyatt Lemanski of Houghton Lake. 2 step grandchildren-Aimee Crump of Houghton Lake, Ashley Bulla of Elton. 2 step great grandchildren-Ava Stormzand of Houghton Lake, Ryder Stormzand of Houghton Lake. 3 brothers-in-law- Sylvester (Gloria) Lasceski of Kinde, Dave (Genevieve) Lasceski of Kinde, Frank (Marie) Lasceski of Ubly. 2 Sisters-in-law- Irene and Homer Wilson of Mansfield, OH, Theresa (Leonard) Horetski of Port Austin. Special friends-Bob (Lee) Britt of Bad Axe. Friends of the Family-Jeff (Janet) Leigh of Lake Orion, Frank (Lisa) Cody the Third of Houghton Lake, as well as several nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by: his in-laws-Edward and Gertrude Lasceski, and 1 brother-in-law-Leonard Lasceski.
Robert Joseph Lemanski, age 68, of Bad Axe, passed away on Friday, March 14th, 2014. He was born on August 3, 1945 in Ubly, son of the late Roman and Rose (Koss) Lemanski. He married Marie Lasceski on October 2, 1965 in St. Mary’s Catholic Church-Dwight.
