The funeral service for Dennis will be 8 pm, Friday, March 7 at the Zinger-Smigielski Funeral Home in Ubly. Rev. Charles Hammond, pastor of Good Shepherd Parish in Ubly, will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery in the spring. Visitation will be at the Zinger-Smigielski Funeral Home in Ubly on Friday from 5:30-9 pm. Dennis is survived by his wife Kathy Peruski of Snover; two sons, Michael and his fiancée Autumn Collins of Gagetown, Steven and his special friend, Amanda McCarty of Harbor Beach; two step daughters, Autumn Michalski and her husband, Scott of Snover, Shana Walker and her husband, Robert of Naples, Fla., two grandchildren, Chautelo and Aryana Peruski; 8 step grandchildren; 3 step great grandchildren; three brothers, Richard and his wife, Chris of Ubly, Eugene and his wife, Denise of Bad Axe, Jerry and his wife, Karen of Caro; one sister, Agnes Peruski of Ubly. Dennis was preceded in death by two infant siblings, Tom and Mary.

Biography

Mr. Dennis K. Peruski, 56 of Ubly, passed away Tuesday evening, March 4, 2014 at the Huron Medical Center in Bad Axe. He was born on January 23, 1958 in Bad Axe to the late Frank and Marie (Lamke) Peruski. He married Katherine Hanson on December 22, 2006 in Bad Axe. Dennis attended Ubly High School. He was employed at Peruski Hardware and Electrical in Ubly for 43 years. He liked country and western music and watching the National Hot Rod Association. Dennis truly enjoyed tinkering with any kind of motorized vehicle.
