A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, December 27th, 2012 at 11am at St. Joeseph Catholic Church in Rapson. Officiating will be Fr. Rob Howe, Pastor. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the Kaufman Funeral Home in Bad Axe on Wednesday from 1-8pm, or Thursday at the church from 10am untill the service time at 11am. A scripture service will be offered on Wednesday at 7pm at the funeral home.
Survived by: Husband-Bruce Geiger of Bad Axe, 1 daughter-Wendy (David) Smith of Bad Axe, 3 sons-Tim (Stephanie) Geiger of Bad Axe, Jon Geiger of Bad Axe, and Derek Geiger of Bad Axe, Father-Ed Burkhard of Harbor Beach, In Laws-John and Joyce Geiger of Bad Axe, 4 Grandchildren- Caleb and Caiden Geiger of Bad Axe, Lydia and Aubrey Smith of Bad Axe, 2 brothers- Jim (Marilyn) Gosdzinski of Brownstown, Terry (Kelly) Gosdzinski of Taylor, 4 brothers-in-law- Joe (Jeanette) Geiger of Bad Axe, Dave (Denise) Geiger of Lake Orion, Matt (Char) Geiger of Saginaw, John (Jenny) Geiger of Lake Orion, 3 sisters-in-law- Mary (Howard) Jurges of Ubly, Betty (Dan) Rutkowski of Midland, Cindy (Bob) Abraham of Auburn, as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was born on June 1st, 1961 in Harbor Beach daughter of the late Leonard and Bernice (Zurek) Gosdzinski. She married Bruce Geiger on May 18th, 1990 in St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Ubly. Kelley worked as a secretary for Cubitt & Cubitt Attorneys for 33 years. She enjoyed attending the kids sporting events, cooking, and baking. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church in Rapson.
