Bad Axe Board of Education meeting - video

The Bad Axe Board of Education monthly meeting was held at the high school Monday night and the first thing on the agenda was to go over the ever-growing Hatchet Fund, which is set aside for student scholarships. Mr. Dennis was in attendance to show off his beautiful new wooden name plate that was made by the shop class using the CNC Router at the high school. A member of the Bad Axe varsity girls bowling team was in attendance to let everyone know how they did when they made it to the Top 8 in States! After that, The Board members had a chance to watch video from a previous Bad Axe vs. Vassar boys basketball game, using cameras hanging from the ceiling in the gymnasium. The Board is looking at purchasing some of these cameras and possibly setting up a media class to go with them. This would make it possible for students or staff to actually cover a live broadcast, much like the one's we watch on TV! The Board members also approved the resignation of retiring Margaret Leitch and resigning Mary Long.
