FEMA Meets With Local Townships -video

Local supervisors and township board members were invited to meet with the Federal Emergency Management Agency earlier this week to discuss flood re-mapping and what it will mean to constituents.

The meeting was at the Port Austin Visitor Center and was from 4 until 6 p.m. on Wednesday, April 25th.

The presentation ended with questions and answers on behalf of the community.

Should anyone have questions about re-mapping, structural implications to their properties, or insurance costs regarding the re-mapping they are urged to contact their township supervisor.
