Arcadia Township Board Approves Some Cemetery Work

During this month's meeting of the Arcadia Township Board of Trustees, they approved some expenditures and a contract.

They approved having All Season Tree and Lawn Service remove some trees at the cemetery. The cost for that work is $6,500.

In other cemetery matters, the board hired Green Excavating LLC for $7,850 to remove the dirt pile in the Arcadia Township Cemetery.

In other matters, the 2025-2026 contract for use of the baseball field was approved.

The contract outlines there will be a $50 per month charge for weekday use, a $25 per day charge for weekend practice, and for there to be a $100 charge for tournaments.

Also, the township's EMC Insurance policy for $22,816 was due. The board decided to pay the total of that bill in a lump sum.
