Tuscola County Pumpkin Festival Car Seat Check

During the 44th Annual Tuscola County Pumpkin Festival on October 4th, a car seat safety check will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Caro Fire Hall located at 317 S. State Street.
Parents and guardians are encouraged to schedule appointments by contacting Deputy Nordstrom at 989-673-8161 ext. 2240. Attendees can receive assistance with rear-facing, forward-facing, and booster seats, with the child required to be present. Seat replacement recommendations will be offered, and vehicles must have a lap and shoulder belt for booster seat use. Additionally, a full list of state car seat replacement programs is available by calling 810-287-5726.
This event is part of the broader festival activities taking place October 2-5 in Caro, Michigan, which features family-friendly events including a car show, parade, kids' activities, and the sale of famous pumpkin pies.
