Upgrades Were Done to USA School Facilities

Some facility upgrades and staffing was approved by the Unionville-Sebewaing Area School District's Board of Education.
Approval was given to have Maurer Electric do building lighting system replacement for $16,200, and it was also approved to have Maurer Electric expand the emergency power infrastructure in the district for $28,700.
Regarding staffing, the board approved hiring Kraig Houthoofd as a junior and senior high school teacher.
With regrets, the board accepted the resignations of Teacher Shaun Dunham, and of secretary Hunter Bohn.
With that done, the board approved hiring Cade Rierson and Maddox Nitz as junior high school football coaches.
Also during the meeting, Superintendent Josh Hahn, reported the entryway door has been replaced, the gym floor was recoated, an indoor cooler/freezer has been installed, and the baseball/softball championship display is being worked on.
