Storm Siren Test Postponed Until Next Week

Although there was supposed to have been a storm warning siren check Wednesday, it was postponed.

It was postponed because of actual storms passing through the area at the time and the Tuscola County Sheriff Department issued a notice the siren warning was postponed until next Wednesday, Sept. 9 at 10 a.m.

Each year several counties in the state selected a date and time to do a storm warning test once a month from April through October.

After the September test, there will be one at 10 a.m., on Oct. 7, which will be the last one for the year.
