VanHoward Frank Robinson Charged For Assaulting His Fellow Inmate

VanHoward Frank Robinson appeared in Huron County District Court today, facing a misdemeanor charge of assault or assault and battery.
The complaint stems from an incident involving his fellow inmate on August 9th, 2026.
During the arraignment, Robinson entered a plea of not guilty.
While attorney Dallas Rooney represented him for today's proceedings, the court has appointed Michael Murawski as his counsel for the case.
Judge Ferris set a plea cutoff hearing for October 15th, 2026, at 9:30 a.m., requiring the prosecution to submit a plea offer by September 20th.
Robinson remains held on a $3,500 bond, 10% required, which has not been posted.
Bond conditions include standard requirements, a prohibition on assaultive or threatening behavior, and a strict no-contact order regarding the victim.
