ATV Crash Investigated On August Eighth

The Huron County Sheriff's Office investigated an ATV crash Friday evening, August 8th, in Huron Township.
According to the crash report, the incident happened around 8:11 p.m. at 9661 Jenks Road, near Sand Beach Township.
Investigators say a 2025 Can-Am Defender Max side-by-side was attempting to turn around in a driveway. The ATV had been traveling north and entered the driveway before attempting a left turn.
During the maneuver, the vehicle tipped onto its right side, causing functional damage to the right side of the ATV.
The report indicates the driver was not injured. A passenger was also riding in the vehicle and was not injured. The passenger was listed as not wearing a helmet.
Alcohol and drugs were not suspected, and the report indicates the ATV was traveling at a low speed at the time of the crash.
The Huron County Sheriff's Office investigated the incident.
