A Huron County man is moving toward sentencing after entering a guilty plea in district court today. Caden Nathaniel Walsh appeared before Judge Ferris to resolve charges stemming from a June 28th traffic stop in Lincoln Township.

Under a plea agreement, Walsh pleaded guilty to operating while visibly impaired.

In exchange, prosecutors dismissed the original charge of operating while intoxicated and a separate speeding citation.

During the hearing, Walsh confirmed he had been driving after consuming alcohol, with a blood draw later showing a level of .162.

Judge Ferris accepted the plea and scheduled sentencing for September 30th.
