Angela Lynn Johnson Charged With Possession Of Methamphetamine

In Huron County District Court, Angela Lynn Johnson appeared before Judge Ferris today to face a felony charge of possession of methamphetamine.

Prosecutors presented a plea offer allowing Johnson to plead to the charge, with no objection to her participation in a regional recovery court, though her eligibility remains under review due to residency requirements.

Represented by attorney Elizabeth Weisenbach , Johnson formally waived her right to a preliminary examination.

Under oath, she confirmed that the waiver was her own choice following consultation with her counsel.

Judge Ferris bound the case over to circuit court for an arraignment scheduled for August 31st at 9:00 a.m., with bond continuing as previously ordered.
