Tuscola Commissioners Will Meet on Thursday

The Tuscola County Board of Commissioners will meet at 8 a.m. Thursday (Aug. 13) in the boardroom of the Purdy Building at 125 West Lincoln St., Caro.
According to the preliminary agenda, some of the issues commissioners are expected to consider is a request from the sheriff to purchase virtual-crash accident reconstruction software, and a request from recycling to purchase a mobile loading dock.
There are also requests to fill open staff positions in buildings and grounds, and in recycling departments.
The openings came about when Mike Miller, who was director of both departments, was hired as the county's Controller-Administrator.
Requests will be made for an employee for the buildings and grounds department, and to hire someone for the recycling department.
