Huron Commissioners to Revisit Previous Issues

Huron County Commissioners will meet at 9 a.m. Tuesday (Aug. 10) in the Huron County Building, Bad Axe.
According to the preliminary agenda, the meeting is expected to start with a report on the child care fund, a report on drains, for the board to revisit the pay increases for the clerk's office, and to revisit the issuance of pay for the 2024 election to two municipalities.
Commissioners are also expected to extend the moratorium on the issuance of special use permits for utility scale solar energy facilities and battery energy storage systems for a 30-day period.
After the regular county meeting, there will be a committee meeting of the whole.
