Bad Axe School Board reviews summer projects at monthly meeting

   The Bad Axe School Board Monday reviewed the summer projects in the district. Brian Delpiere, Technology Director told the board the work will include classroom audio systems for k-12 classrooms, the Middle School Lab will have some low voltage cabling, along with the Middle School Media Center plus some electrical upgrade projects.   In other action, the board named Richard Lee of the Class of 1957 and William Tageson of the Class of 1960 as the 2017 Distinguished Alumni recipients. The board also hired Harold Berridge as a school custodian and went into closed session to discuss negotiations with the teachers union and operating engineering union employees.
