Colfax Township Will Have Two Issues on August Ballot

Colfax Township will have two issues on the Aug. 4 ballot.

There will be a request to renew 1 mill for roads for four years.

If approved, the millage would generate about $136,640 the first year, and be used for construction and maintenance of roads in the township.

There will be a request to renew 1.75 mills for four years for fire protection.

If approved the millage would generate about $239,121 to be used to provide fire protection services in the township.
